Protecting Tonga’s Newborns

Neonatal care in Tonga has taken an important step forward with the arrival of a new transport incubator at Vaiola Hospital’s Paediatric Ward. Made possible through a $60,000 donation from Tanoa Hotel, the incubator is designed for safe air transport. This is a major advantage for premature and emergency cases coming from the outer islands. This equipment will help ensure the youngest patients receive stabilised and continuous care from the moment they begin their journey to Nuku’alofa.
